Your 7-day plan — make every day count

50 leads and 7 days go fast. Here's a day-by-day plan to test PropStream thoroughly and walk away with a clear yes/no decision:

Day 1–2

Learn the platform. Pick your category.

  • Watch PropStream's onboarding walkthrough (15 min)
  • Browse the 20 lead categories on FlipProperties.com — pick the 1–2 that match your strategy
  • Pull your first lead list — start with Absentee Owners (largest pool, easiest filters)
  • Explore the property report for a few leads — get comfortable with the equity panel, comps, and ownership history
Day 3–4

Stack filters. Build a real list.

  • Apply the filter stack for your chosen category — equity, ownership length, occupancy — and watch the list shrink from thousands to hundreds
  • Read the how-to guide for your category on FlipProperties.com while you filter — the steps in the guide match the buttons in PropStream
  • Run comps on 2–3 of the most promising properties
  • If the numbers work on paper, run skip tracing on those 2–3 leads
Day 5–6

Run the numbers. Make a decision.

  • Use Flip Comps to run full deal analyses — comp selection, rehab estimate, MAO calculation, profit projection
  • Compare PropStream's data against another source (Zillow, Redfin, or your own comps) — does it hold up?
  • Estimate your monthly cost on the plan you'd need — Essentials vs Pro vs Elite — based on your volume
  • Calculate: if PropStream helps you close one deal, does the annual subscription pay for itself? (Answer: yes, by a factor of 10-50x on a single flip)
Day 7

Decide. Subscribe or walk.

  • Review your 7 days: did you find leads you couldn't find elsewhere? Did the filtering and comp tools save you time?
  • If yes: subscribe to the plan that matches your volume. Start with Essentials or Pro — you can upgrade later.
  • If no: the trial cost you nothing. You learned the platform and confirmed it isn't your tool — that's useful information too.
  • Export any lists you built during the trial — they're yours to keep even if you don't subscribe.

The real decision: does it pay for itself?

This is the only question that matters at the end of the trial. Not "is the UI nice" or "do I like the brand colors." Does the platform find you deals you wouldn't find otherwise — and do those deals generate enough profit to cover the subscription?

The math, on any plan:

Essentials$99/mo — $1,188/year
One flip at $25K profit = 21× the annual subscription. Even if PropStream helps you close one deal every two years, it pays for itself 10× over.
Pro$199/mo — $2,388/year
One flip at $25K profit = 10× the annual subscription. Add free skip tracing and Lead Automator, and you'd need these tools anyway — the subscription bundles them.
Elite$699/mo — $8,388/year
For teams closing 5+ deals/year. If PropStream improves your deal flow by even 10%, the subscription is noise relative to the revenue.

Where to go next

Before you start the trial, know what you're looking for. Browse the 20 lead categories to pick your strategy, read how to find motivated sellers for the method you'll test during the trial, and see the full PropStream review for the feature breakdown you'll experience.

Trial questions

No. PropStream's 7-day free trial does not require a credit card. You sign up with your name and email, get full platform access with 50 free leads, and the trial ends automatically after 7 days. No charges, no autorenewal trap, no 'cancel before we bill you.' This is one of PropStream's strongest selling points — the trial is genuinely free.

Your account access ends. You do not get charged. The lists you exported during the trial are yours to keep. If you want to continue, you subscribe to one of the three plans — Essentials ($99/mo), Pro ($199/mo), or Elite ($699/mo) — with annual billing discounts available. There is no pressure to subscribe; the trial is designed to let you test the platform with real data from your market before committing.

50 leads total. This is enough to test 2-3 lead types, stack filters, run comps, and skip trace a handful of properties — enough to see whether the platform works for your market and strategy. It is not enough to build a full marketing campaign. The 50-lead limit is intentionally sized for evaluation, not production use. If you need more, the paid plans remove the lead cap.
